Just a bit of a story about why I love herbs. A bit serious and full of colours.
Many of the medicinal herbs are recognised as weeds, like cleaver, nettle, chickweed and many more. And, of course there are other beautiful edible and medicinal flowers too. When I see herbs that are often recognised as weeds on a walk where no one would take notice of them, I respect so much how bright their spirits are. They are just living as they are while they are holding so many stories with them. They are full of wisdom. And when I use them as medicinal herbs for people and dogs, I remember those spirits and also those who suffer. Something scientists can not explain but something that I am sure that helps those people and dogs. For me it is their life force and also wisdom. So when I choose herbs in the morning for myself, something flashbacks in my mind, meadow, dark damp soil, fresh breeze and summer sunshine. That is something that makes me happy. Maybe people might want to find out much more about the medicinal components that explains how they work, what they are good for. But you can look at those on google and also other books written by professionals. But what I want to share is something not so many people pay attention to.
When you see weeds, remember they have some messages for you. Now, already lots of new cleaver shoots are around and why not pick them with respect and make some fresh smoothie for your loved fur friends?
