So here is a little cute fresh turmeric. Small yet full of nutrition and so much to write about!
My first encounter with turmeric was when we had a new neighbor. She was from overseas and I really adored her so much as she was like a pretty doll! We were playing outside and I cut my knee. And she said she would get some first aid for me. Then she turned up with TURMERIC! I thought it was a piece of ginger! She told me her grandma knew all sorts of good things and that was one of the things she learnt from her grandma. "When you cut, put turmeric on!" Gosh what a clever grandma!!!
And now I feel this little golden turmeric is an amazing spice that Mother Earth shares with us. It is a great source as an anti-inflammatory, strengthens liver functions, and loads more.
You can add fresh turmeric into a smoothie or use powder to make some turmeric paste. Unfortunately, it needs to be taken with freshly ground black pepper to help its absorption as curcumin is really hard to be absorbed.
Try some of our Turmeric paste to help your loved one to keep its health :)
