Enjoy seasonal food for happy healthy life!
As weather is getting colder, body is getting more stiff. When the muscle is tense and stiff, it is hard to relax. When the body is warm and soft, it affects our emotion.
Autumn is the time for winter preparation. Lots of berries, mushrooms, nuts as well as last blossom of roses.
Take handful of wild rose petals and gently infuse in sweet aromatic virgin coconut oil. You can add this infused coconut oil in dogs daily food as well as using it for paw and fur nourishing balm. Safe to lick, beautiful to look at. There is no need to add junk. You can use this for your daily baking too so you and your dogs can enjoy it together!
Enjoy your holistic life with your doggies ♥
We have so many fruits in our gardens. Plums, damsons, apples, pears, raspberries and black berries.
The season is changing into autumn and tree started having its fruits. I love this change as it makes me feel we are so blessed to live on this living earth. Nothing stays the same yet in bigger scale, there is some eternal thing. It is life and vital force.
Here is our meal for dogs today.
Silverside beef chunks
Power house green smoothie made with kale, asparagus end, carrot, mango, chamomile, fennel, rose hip spirulina with beautiful skin and coat infusion.
Raw coconut oil
Yellow plum ( pit is dangerous!)
Cornish sea salad
Plum is high in vitamin C, iron and antioxidant so really great food for dogs too.

♥ Here is our holistic smoothie for dogs ♥
When dogs had a big meaty bone, I give holistic smoothie as separately.
It is very colorful and looks delicious. This smoothie is for hot summer. Cooling herbs and vegetables are really helpful for body to get cool down.
♥ RECIPE ♥
1 TBSP Da Fioretti Immune booster herbal infusion
5 pieces of pineapple
Asparagus end ( I keep the end for dogs)
Raw kefir yogurt
Put the herbs in the heat proof glass jar
Poor the hot water to infuse
When it is cooled down, add fruits and vegetables ( except raspberry egg and kefir).
Blend with Bamix or any tools you prefer to blend.
Serve it in a food bowl with a raw egg, raspberry and kefir yogurt.
I use a blender called Bamix as I can make smoothie in a glass jar. No washing means no wasted water. I hope this little habit makes a difference to Mother Nature that gives so many gifts to all the creatures on this earth.
There are so many things related to beauty. Beautiful art, beautiful people, beautiful food, beautiful fashion and beautiful ......soul.
What do you mean by beauty? What is beautiful.
I started Da Fioretti Organics to spread the beauty of raw food, holistic care, beautiful life with dogs, beautiful herbs and food and beautiful attitude that tries to tune into something other than own self. I believe the beauty touches people's heart and that will open up their soul to listen to the message from Mother Nature rather than showing the negative result or horrible news. I believe the power of positive energy. Positive energy invites positive energy and that will help us to move on somewhere positive.
Today, I found this beautiful leaf vegetable called KOMATSUNA. It is one of my favorite Japanese vegetables. It has already a lot of small holes. Yes, imperfection! Then I felt how wonderful that I can still share this my favorite vegetable with small creatures that also live their life and help this eco system. I became happy rather than unhappy.
You don't normally see strange shape carrots nor cabbages with holes in. I think it is actually very wired.
This one leaf with little tiny holes in taught me a lot what beauty means. We are also beautiful with imperfection.
I hope you have a good day. Be kind to yourself and also enjoy gifts from Mother Nature.
So here is our menu!
I see lots of dandelions in a field and that makes my heart filled with happiness. Dandelion is one of the most underestimated herbs. Full of nutritions and great tonic herbs which you can harvest by yourself.
I dehydrated flowers, leaves and in winter I make a tincture from the root.
So today, I made a butternut squash, carrot and dandelion smoothie. Just so bright and beautiful. I added some red clover tea and over ripe apple as well and my dogs love it so much.
Butternut squash, carrot, dandelion smoothie with Primrose's holistic smoothie mix
Cranberry lavender and calendula topping
Enjoy your herbal walk!
When I prepare bone broth, I think of my grandma.
She came from South Korea and in Korea, people eat slow cooked herbal chicken soap to boost their health and it is very special food. They use whole chicken stuffed with short grained sticky rice, add a couple of chinese herbs and cook them gently until the chicken becomes so tender. I loved it especially when my grandma made it. It is such a gentle flavor and very warming. And when someone is not well, people make this to show their kindness and love and hoping that special person gets better soon.
So, when I realized bone broth is great for dogs, it was so natural to add some herbs for them.
I cook lots of different versions of bone broth but this one is very easy.
I use small and young chicken ( toxins in the bones will be less in small in young animals so I normally use young ones.)
Dried Shiitake mushrooms
Raw apple cider vinegar
I put all the ingredients in spring water ( not tap water) and gentle cook. I cook at least 24 hours but sometimes longer.
I use the cooked meat cold with salad for our human family and soup for the dogs. ( well, sometimes human family too!)
The amazing thing about bone broth is, you can get such deep nutrition from bones and it's easy for dogs to take it in. It nourishes their immune system as well as helps the liver to detox to clear the body.
What is your favorite bone broth?
When Coco was small, she often had tummy trouble especially when the trainer used treats to train her. So I always look into more nutritious and healthy treats which are also easy to digest for dogs that have sensitive tummies.
Right, we went through, and we learn. Right? Here is my secret recipe for home made treats for dogs that simply want the best or for dogs that have sensitive tummies.
I used Honey's pre-made prime free range beef as it contains ground bones. I added our beautiful skin & coat herbal infusion to support skin function during this cold season. Many dogs suffer from dry skin at the moment and also they need to get ready for the coming allergy season.

Enjoy and send me some photos of your meaty bites to https://www.facebook.com/fiorettidistfrancisk9friends?ref=hl
So here is our menu.
Crunchy duck wings, duck mince( with bones), trachea, green smoothie made with kale, spirulina, kelp, our organic anti flea & tick herbal infusion, chamomile tea, and coconut shreds and fennel topping.
Giving meaty bones keeps teeth shiny and it stimulates saliva so that they have better digestion! Feeding the natural way is something simple and precious that we can do for our special fur friends.
Enjoy raw feeding!
I am so honoured to collaborate with the most well know raw feeding group on Face book! Full of goodness and beautiful colours! Isn't it just perfect for Christmas?
I made this recipe especially for dogs but actually it's very nice for people. Delicious with ice cream or plain yogurt. Chamomile gives a gentle flavour while mint gives a fresh touch to the sauce.
Bon a petit!
Here is our 14 weeks old Mint, the Jack Russell's meal today.
Minced whole duck, chicken liver, green smoothie made with kale, banana, apple, chamomile, parsley, our immune booster herbal infusion served with calendula, chamomile petals, and sea vegetables.
He is really enjoying his meals and growing nicely. As a puppy needs to eat 3-4 times a day, the plate is so tiny and the amount is so tiny but I believe it is like a cosmos on it. Full of nutrition, full of colours, and for me it is full of life force. Feed a variety of food and you know they eat well.
Enjoy your raw feeding!
I love watching the colours in the nature.
When I go for a walk with my Coco the black lab, I think NOTHING. Just walking, feeling the breath and absorbing the beauty around me. Every day is different. And none can be the same. I think this is a miracle. And when one opens the heart, it is there to share their beauty.
So when I prepare the smoothie, I feel this. The beauty of gifts from Mother Nature. And I just add my love and creativity to create the healthy smoothie for the one I really love. I loooove my dog just like you do!
So, here are some of the ingredients I used for her smoothie.
Thanks to my special friend who taught me THIS is very good for dogs, I managed to get this beautiful muscat colour whey from organic Greenlands Farm Cheesery. Whey contains full of protein and also bio-organic sodium which the body can use to keep the joints limber and reduce inflammation in the them.
Linden flower works on the nerve system and helps the blood circulation. And of course, berries are good as a source of vitamin C!
So here are our special treats for your dog. Delicious organic rose hip & herb truffles!
Made with organic rose hips with echinacea coated with clever chia seeds, delicate coconut powder and pretty flax seeds. They are full of goodness, including vitamin C, and this combination boosts their immune system.
I recommend giving them twice a week. Just pop one in their meal or as a treat. My chief taster, Coco the black labrador, tucked into it and asked for some more. So you know how good they are!
Enjoy your healthy life with your pooch!
Great looking fish and delicious looking berries!
I enjoy preparing Raw food for Coco the black lab. Passing the fish counter, sniff sniff and sniff! Then if I see any good looking sprats or sardines, of course I get some for her( and some for my human family too)!
Sardine is a great source for Omega fatty acid 3 and 6. They will make a healthy coat. Just imagine what you need to have a healthy coat. A healthy coat is made with healthy blood. Good blood circulation boosts the immune system and also eases symptoms of arthritis. So it's full of good outcomes.
Right, here is our menu!
( Kale, basil, thyme, fennel, broccoli stalk
apple, apple cider vinegar, burdock tea)
Raspberry, blue berry
shredded bonito, calendula topping
For me herbs are part of our daily vegetables. I use them all the time for my dog and for humans. The key is using a variety of them so it won't be the same herb all the time. Then you get a good balance!
Enjoy your herbal life!
When you see the dog, you can really tell if s/he is healthy or not. Shiny coat, healthy muscle, and shining eyes. We are what we eat, same as dogs!
Fresh sardine is reasonably priced and also a great source of omega fatty acid. Shiny coat and healthy skin is the sign of healthy blood. Good healthy blood creates the balanced system in the body so that it will help to deal with any inflammations or blood related illness and also it boosts the immune system too.
One thing we have to be careful about is that Omega fatty acid is easily damaged by heat and improper storage. So please get a fresh supply and feed raw. Full of calcium and full of good nutritions.
Today's menu :
Fresh sardine, organic chicken liver, home made green smoothie made with our herbal infusion, kale, french beans, spirulina, kelp, parsley, cinnamon, apple, and mango with blackberries and calendula flower sprinkles.
I love using herbs for my black lab Coco. And the key is using a variety of food and herbs so that dogs won't eat the same thing everyday which helps to avoid any reactions and also improve their health.
Here is our beautiful raw meal today.
Organic chicken, venison, homemade green smoothie made with kale, green beans, sea kelp, flax seed oil, parsley, basil, fennel seeds and spirulina and raw egg from our hen and herbal sprinkle. Spirulina is a super food and full of good nutritions. It helps to detox and cleanse their body. It helps young dogs to built their immune system and helps old ones to boost and heal their systems. So why not add them into their meal?
Enjoy beautiful food!
We had such a beautiful summer this year, good weather, not so much rain. And our tomatoes did such a beautiful job! These are called tiger tomatoes as they have such a unique patterns on them. I always think they are very pretty. And very very tasty. See where they grow, taste how blessed we are. We live with gifts from Mother Nature. All these things make me smile.
Although I would not choose tomatoes as an everyday vegetable for my dog as I believe it is a gift from summer to cool down our body, it is a great source of vitamins and fibre for our fur babies. My black lab, Coco loves it as a snack and she plays with it before she eats it as if she is too happy to have it!
So enjoy the last harvest from summer garden!
